Dunaway offers some of the finest fair-chase whitetail deer hunting available
in the southeast. The property has been under a Quality Deer Management program
in excess of 10 years, focusing on the harvesting of bucks with a minimum
age of 3.5 years. In addition to the 40 plus food plots, a high-protein, supplemental
feeding program ensures the deer receive the nutrition needed to maximize
both body and antler growth.
While hunting on the property, a hunter may pursue deer either from one of
more than 50 tree stands/shooting houses placed throughout the fields and
woods or use one of his own. All club-owned stands are placed in natural feeding
or travel areas. However, if you choose to use your own stand, the Dunaway
staff will gladly assist in the proper location and setting of your stand.
